Never go looking for a problem
I was trying to find a way to get the day off on monday to do something at university, work wouldn't give me the day off as there is no time off available in this month. Awesome, just what I needed; two places I have to be at the same time.
So I went looking for a valid medical reason as to why I couldn't be at work, well I found one. My headaches were getting worse and I was pretty sure I knew what it was.
So I asked....
Everything is all bent out of shape again and worse than before, now my nose is completely closed on the left side. I have to physically open it to even pass any air through at all.
Soooooo looks like I have a reason not to go to work on Monday and not even uni either; it's another fucking cat scan.. awesome!
Not only do I not get get to do the thing I was finding an excuse for, but I don't get a medical cert for the cat scan. Brilliant!
EDIT: Scan will be Monday(tomorrow) or Tuesday.
EDIT 2: Okay so at this point surgery might not be option one, I have things to discuss with my specialist. They're going to start me on steroids and pain killers, then just steroids.
If this works them no need for surgery, I'll just have to take steroids until it gets worse.
If it doesn't work I'll be under the knife again within weeks.
I'm trying not to make people worry and there are other tests to go, so I've just told everyone that nothing is wrong. An MRI isn't out of the question at this point, we'll have to see what comes of the next appointment.
